Femmes-Tische:

"Femmes-Tische" is a nationally licensed programme that has won several prizes for prevention and health promotion. Created in 1996, it has been successfully developed in many regions, both in Switzerland and elsewhere. More than 8000 women in Switzerland and Lichtenstein take part in the "Femmes-Tische" programme each year.

This programme brings together mainly women in a migratory context and treats, privately or institutionally, questions of education, daily life and health. The Femmes-Tisch programme is basically organised along the lines of Tupperware-Parties. The meetings take place in the mother-tongue of the participants or inter-culturally, in German, English or French.
